Wake Up is the second single released off my upcoming debut album (April 2021) It's about how modern society is so messed up because a tiny % of people control all the money and power in the world. It’s about us taking back our power to create change.

There’s rooms of only men deciding women rights there’s a guy in the White House who only thinks white
And they blinker us to see only one side of the coin show the refugees coming but not our bombs destroying their homes
And we got the internet connected round the world but all we’re doing is just checking out those instagram girls
More & more distractions to keep us locked down, turn us each in to an island without its own power supply .. I’m not gonna lie

I see massive lorries plastered with greenwash signs, saying we’ve cut our emissions to ease your mind
All our eyes are permanently glued to screens, the internets the only thing for hi definition dreams
And the people who say theres no systemic racism, cant you see thats just cos no one ever rubbed your face in it
We are all in this together so why cant you take a minute before you sit back down, put your blinkers on and settle in it

Somehow we stud the green fields with empires of steel buy our supermarket apples from a thousand miles away
Put our vulnerable away where we don’t behold their pain and all our stuff is built to fall apart sooner rather than later
They care about a black Ariel more than fish in the sea, only when they’re gone will they realise we cant eat money
History repeats itself time after time, can only overcome our nature by opening our minds
